About Us

Our 25 Things:

1. We were started by two brothers, Nick and Fred Laliberte.
2. We like poutine.
3. Scratch that… we like really good poutine.
4. We do one kind of poutine and we do it well.
5. We like being our own bosses.
6. Our awesome restaurant was built by one uncle with wood that came from another uncle.
7. We like to keep it in the family.
8. Our poutine comes with 100% biodegradable cornstarch forks because we like the world we live in and don’t want to have to move to another planet.
9. Our poutine is served in 100% biodegradable sugarcane containers because we like the world we live in and don’t want to have to move to another planet.
10. Our napkins are made from recycled, biodegradable paper and are not bleached because… well, you know.
11. We recycle the bottles and cans from the beverages we sell.
12. (If you take them with you we hope you recycle them, too.)
13. We like a good baked potato and they’re pretty hard to find elsewhere, so we make them here.
14. We’re pretty proud that we thought up the idea of a baked potato poutine.
15. (At least, we hope we’re the ones who thought it up.)
16. We like Toronto.
17. More importantly, we like the Queen West part of Toronto.
18. (Because we live here.)
19. We like bands from Toronto.
20. We will totally play your music and tell all our customers about your upcoming shows if you drop off a CD.
21. We like art.
22. More importantly, we like art from Toronto.
23. We will totally display/sell/talk about your art in our store if you let us.
