Poutini’s has always been committed to the environment, so it only makes sense that we take part in Toronto’s largest outdoor green festival.
Everything used to serve Poutini’s delicious poutines is 100% biodegradable and compostable. Our containers are made from bagasse, which is the sugarcane fiber waste that is left over after the juice is extracted, and our utensils consist of a resin of 80% starch (either potato or corn) and 20% soy or other vegetable oil.
Come see us at the Live Green Toronto Festival!

We had an amazing turnout, and we hope to have the same when we venture out this weekend for Luminato’s 1000 Tastes of Toronto. This is the festival’s closing-weekend celebration of cuisine from around the world, and Poutini’s will be there to offer our traditional and vegetarian poutines. To thank everyone who has supported Poutini’s for the past two years, we are offering a 2-for-1 poutine special on Sunday, June 12th.
Since 2009, Poutini’s has made its mark on the food scene, having been named Best Poutine in Toronto by blogTO and NOW Magazine readers. Right from day one, owners Fred and Nick Laliberte put their heart and soul into the business - from crafting much of the woodwork in the restaurant to creating the perfect homemade poutine recipe. The two brothers and their outstanding team look forward to celebrating many more anniversaries.
Join us at Poutini’s from noon-9pm on June 12th for a poutine party like no other! Om nom nom!
